Professional Background

Mike’s banking career started in the 1980s as a mortgage lender, he then transitioned to branch management and commercial lending. In 1998, Mike moved to full-time SBA lending. Since then, he has started and managed SBA lending programs for three different banks and has approved over half a billons dollars in SBA loans. 

Education

Mike has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He has been recognized by the SBA with various awards including the Rising Star, Rural and Community Lender of the Year, and 504 Lender of the Year. 

Community Involvement

Mike serves on the loan committee for SBA 504 loans for LiftFund, is a member of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders, and serves on the Prayer Ministry Team at Hill Country Bible Church.
