Professional Background

Jacob started his career in community banking 7 years ago and never left. In that time, Jacob went from a Teller to New Accounts Representative. He was later promoted to a Senior Banker and most recently, Jacob joined R Bank as Banking Center Manager at our Austin location.

Education

Jacob attended the University of Iowa, where he graduated in 2013 with a BA in Anthropology & Religion. He chooses to continue his education and takes one course per quarter to learn new skills.

Activities & Interests

Jacob is very much a “Do It Yourself” type of person. He will try to learn to do something himself, in order to achieve the outcome he envisions. From building a computer to painting art and building and upholstering the furniture in his home. On a weeknight after work, you can either find Jacob at the gym or kayaking on Lake Austin.
