Business Development Officer

Professional Background

Raised in the great city of Austin, Texas,  Barbara’s banking career started in 1981 at a local community bank. In the early years, she worked in bookkeeping, the loan department and lending  administration. As banks began consolidating in the early 90’s, she went into Retail Banking and Branch Management both at the community and corporate banking level. She proudly joined R Bank in 2013, and currently serves as Vice President/Business Development Officer.   

Education

Throughout the years, Barbara attended Austin Community College. Her concentration has been in  banking and marketing related programs.

Community Involvement

Currently, Barbara serves as a board member on the City of Cedar Park Community Development Corporation (4B), Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Twin Lakes YMCA (Chairman) and the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center.    

Over the years, Barbara has served on numerous non-profit organizations in the Central Texas area as a volunteer and a board member.  She is a graduate of the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce
